Workspaces default to the US region. EU residency is available on Core and required on Enterprise contracts that ask for it. Cross-region replication is off by default.
Retention

Deletion
Workspace owners can delete a workspace's data on demand. Hard-delete completes within 24 hours and is logged in the audit log. Backups roll out within 30 days under standard backup retention.
